I have been a teacher and administrator at every level of education but by far my most fulfilling work has been nurturing the minds and hearts of high school students. I am fortunate now to lead the Calvary Christian Academy high school as we seek to fulfill our mission of Inspiring a love for learning, Instilling Godly character, and Impacting the culture with spiritual and emotionally mature graduates. 


I earned Master’s degrees in Religious Studies and History and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I served as Assistant Professor of Leadership at the International School of Theology from 1998-2002. I have served as an elementary school principal at Bayshore Christian School in Alabama and high school principal at Umpqua Valley Christian School.
